Excel family tree templates are the easiest way to get started creating a family tree. They are one of the most popular free family tree resources on the Internet and anyone who know how to use Microsoft Excel can create their own family tree using a template.
It's surprising how many people don't know how to make a family tree. Most people think that a family tree is a very complicated process to follow, but it's not. You can use the Excel family tree templates to build your own family tree in minutes.
It's easy to create a family tree because you just need to know the basic facts about your family. First, you'll need to decide what kind of background you want.
Do you want your family to be descended from a white American ancestry? If so, then you'll need to use the US white Ancestry template. You'll need to pick the state or province where you're from and then enter the state and province.
If you're an English speaker, then use the British English template. This will make it easier for you to get your results. If you're not English speaking, you can still use the template, but you might need to use the English template if you're trying to keep track of which states you're part of.
Once you have a name for each member of your family, you'll need to use the simplest and easiest way to start out with the research. That's family trees because a family tree is all about family relationships. So, choose the "descendants" tab, then go down to the "family relationships" tab.
You need to start with the family relationships tab because that's where all the rest of the information will come from. The "people who are related" section should look something like this. You should start with the most recent generation (yourself). So, take the oldest person listed, make it your "older child", and then fill in the other people listed in the box with their generation.
Now, just add in the person in the box under the youngest child, since they'll be the ones carrying on the information for you. If you have siblings, then list them in the "siblings" tab next. Then, you need to put your siblings in the "other relatives" tab.
Next, fill in the birth date. Just make sure that you've entered the correct year if you're going to use this family tree template. And, finally, put in the mother's maiden name, if you can.
Beginning with the middle children, put in their respective ages and dates of birth. Then, use the "relationships" tab to put in the names of their siblings.
Once you have all of that in place, you'll need to add in the Christmas event to the file. Use the "events" tab and put in the year, month, day, and event (the date).
After that, you can put in the age of your grandchildren, use the "marriages" tab, put in the date of the marriage, and you're done. Then, save the file. That's all there is to making a family tree in just a few simple steps using family tree templates.
