Printable lesson plans that can be used by students in a classroom setting are very convenient to have in your office or home for quick retrieval when needed. Personal preference is often the best approach to choose a lesson plan that will work for you and your class, but there are several that are popular among teachers.
Free Printable Lesson Plan Templates: These free lesson plan templates are very convenient to have in your home for quick retrieval. Some are available online, while others can be downloaded from your school website. Some are very detailed, while others are more generic, and provide a lot of information but are not that helpful in helping you organize your classroom.
Printable Lesson Plans and Notes: These are also known as lesson plans, lesson notes or lesson journal. They give a list of activities that must be completed for each assignment and project. If you are using one of these templates, make sure you read the instructions on how to use them properly. Some of them can be found for free online but if you want to use them, they need to be modified for your classroom.
Online Lessons and Notes: These type of lesson plans can be accessed online and can be shared through email. A problem with many teacher printables is that they are not easy to find and sometimes they are difficult to navigate. Online lesson plans have a lot less content than paper versions but the main advantage is the ability to keep track of all your assignments and projects through the Internet. Teachers who have not had a lot of experience with using Microsoft Office software might not be comfortable using the Internet but they do have some basic knowledge about the basics. Most online lesson plans are available as a download or as a template file which can be used for other lessons in the classroom.
Free Online Lessons: The main advantage to having an online lesson plan is that you can use it for any reason, whether for a class project, a new teaching method or simply to help you organize your lesson planning. Many schools and instructors are now making their lesson plans available on the Internet. There are many websites that offer lesson plans for teachers to choose from, so finding one that meets your needs is not a problem.
Printable or Free Lesson Plan Templates: One drawback of having a free plan template is that they are usually very basic and do not provide a lot of information. Most often than not, they contain only the name of the teacher and the date of the assignment, but do not provide enough information to make the lesson meaningful. This means the student is not fully informed about the information that needs to be covered for the assignment or project.
Online Lesson Plans: Another disadvantage of free plans is that they may only include information that you can find online or downloaded from other websites; this may include a list of materials that need to be purchased for the lesson. This means the information is not well organized and you do not know how to properly use the materials.
There are also more specialized types of lesson plans that can be downloaded from the Internet and then printed out for use in a classroom. These types of plans are more detailed and should have more information that will help the student learn what to do and what to avoid in order to successfully complete the assignment or project. These plans can include things like how long each part of the project should take and the required materials.
