The best way to create a customized resume is to use a Microsoft Word template. There are lots of different templates available for Microsoft Word, including templates for resumes and cover letters. You can even save your template as an MS Word file format so that it is easy to share with others. Here is how:
Open Microsoft Word and open the document to be formatted. Under the document header, select Format, and then choose Microsoft Word 2020. In the Insert tab, click the file extension of the file you wish to use.
In the Format toolbar, double_click the Microsoft font to select it. In the Character Editor, use the keyboard shortcut Control +C to display the character properties toolbar.
Click the Fonts tab, and in the Properties panel, click on the Browse button. Type in the file name of the Microsoft Word file you wish to use for the template. To see the characters that will appear, click the Show Characters button at the upper right corner.
In the Character Editor, type in the appropriate characters to be used in your resume, as they appear in the Microsoft Word file. To preview the resume, type in the character you want to appear, and then press the Return key to insert it in the Microsoft Word document.
In the File Format toolbar, double_click the PDF file extension, and then click the Create link at the bottom of the toolbar. In the Create tab, select Open, and then click OK.
Click the Open button in the document you are about to format, and then select the file. Then double_click the PDF file icon in the toolbar. The PDF file will appear as a Word document.
In Microsoft Word, go to File and then Save As, and select the file to be saved in your preferred format. To begin formatting your resume in Microsoft Word.
In Microsoft Word, under the File menu, click the Format toolbar button. In the Format toolbar, double_click the Microsoft font to select it. In the Character Editor, type in the appropriate characters to be used in your resume, and then press the Return key to insert it in your Microsoft Word file. To preview the resume, type in the character you want to appear, and then press the Return key to insert it in the Microsoft Word document.
In Microsoft Word, go to Page Layout, and then select the Page Layout tab. From the Page Layout toolbar, double_click the Page Layout Toolbar and then click on the arrow next until it is highlighted. In the Page Layout Toolbar, click and drag the drop the toolbar until you have selected the format to be used on your resume.
Now you are ready to format your resume in Microsoft Word. Click the Save button, and select Save As.
In the Save As dialog box, click on the Save As button. Click OK, and then choose where you wish to save the new resume template. In the Save As dialog box, click on the Save button and select Save As Type. In the Save As Type dialog box, type in your desired file name, and click on Save.
To preview your newly formatted resume, close Microsoft Word, and preview it in a Word editor. In Word, go to Insert and then Select to open the file, select the file to be saved in your Word document.
If you need to edit your resume in Word, first close Microsoft Word and open it again. In the Word editor.
In the Insert tab, click on the Insert button. In the Edit section, select the New Resume button. In the New Resume button, click on the Create button. Then click on the Save button.
After creating the new resume, save it in your Word document, and then go back to Microsoft Word. In the Document menu and go to Format.
In the Format menu, double_click the Document tab and click on the New Resume button. In the New Resume dialog box, click on the Format Now button.
