Microsoft Word is one of the best programs to use for creating invitation cards. Students can customize and personalize these special invitations using the template to get a unique party invite. The beauty of creating the invitations with Word is that you can add your own pictures, labels, or graphics. You will need to select a template to help you create the graduation invitations in Word.
To obtain a custom graduation card in Word, the student simply goes to the Microsoft Office Web Pages and downloads the template. There are some details that the student will need to enter before the card can be created. The name of the graduation ceremony should be entered as well as the date of the event. The secondary major, the student is pursuing will also need to be entered. The graduation gown or tuxedo chosen by the student will also need to be entered.
After the student has entered all of the necessary data, the template will be opened and the customizations will be applied to it. The invitation will be printed and then the invitation will need to be returned to the system. If the invitation is being sent to an individual, the name of the individual will also be entered. If the invitation is being sent in a group, the instructor or other individuals in the group will be entered in the name block.
The next step involved in using a Microsoft Word graduation party invitation template is to select the font and color for the text and background on the invitation. For the text to stand out, it needs to be colorful. The font can be set to bold, italic, or inverse color. You will also have the choice of setting the size of the text.
To complete the look and feel of the invitation, you will need to add a graduation cap and bow to the front of the invitation. To do this, click on the tools menu located at the top right corner of the software. Once the" Layout" tool is available, click on "Graduation Party Invitation". A new window will open and the gradation cap and bow should be added to the invitation.
A new window will open up and you will need to click on "New Inbox". The first option available will be the name of the person that will respond to the invitation, their name, their address and cell phone number and their birth date. Then, type in your message. When done, save it to disk.
Now, if you wish to change the colors of the text and font, you can do so by selecting "Color" on the options menu found on the Graduation Party invitation template. You can also alter the style of the lettering by selecting "style" on the Graduation Party invitation template. Finally, change the size and color of the text to make it appropriate for the form. Click "OK". The invitation will now be completed. You will receive an email notification in your Inbox alert.
You may also edit the template by selecting "Change" on the "Templates" icon. Use the arrow keys to create a new template. Once done, save it to disk and open it in Microsoft Word. If you have problems opening the template in Microsoft Word, use the download or copy and paste method outlined in the last paragraph of this article.
It is advisable to print the template out and review its contents before you save the contents as you will need to change certain elements as per the actual graduation celebration. For example, you may want to mention the date, time and place of the event in the Party Invitation. If there are guests who will be unable to attend the event, then the venue should also be mentioned.
If you are planning on sending the graduation party invitation by email, use the download or upload method outlined in the last paragraph of this article. On the first receipt of the invitation, attach the PDF to the email and wait for a response. If there is a prompt response, attach the PDF to the email and await response. If the invitation does not arrive on time, then resend the PDF. If there is no response, delete the PDF and send a separate email.
In order to use any of the above methods, you must have Word installed on your computer. If you don't have Word, you can download one from Microsoft's website. Open Word and click on "Start" button and then click "Tools". Go for "Add New". Type the desired name for the template in the text box and click "OK".
