You must open a Microsoft Word document and then select "Card Layout Tab" located on the main menu at the top of the screen. The three tabs that appear are "Content", "Mounted Document" and "Templates". Click on the "Content" tab. If you have an existing document such as an Excel worksheet, you will see a preview of the changes you can make to the data in the existing document. In case you have not created any template, your existing file will be shown in a default format for printing.
In this example, we have already created a four_part index card for an ice_cream shop. In Microsoft Word, click on "Print (eatured)" to bring up the Print Preview window. Type your message in the text box and click "Print" to print out your flash cards. You may also want to print your recipe cards at a larger size than usual, especially if you print more than one with your business or personal newsletter. You may want to make sure that your content is clear and easy to read on the larger paper size. The easiest way to do this is to open your word document and then type on a larger font for the text that you want to appear on the front of the card. If it's more than one line or has a lot of repeat characters, you can split it up into several lines to allow for easier reading. But, if you are printing it at the proper page size, it will look great no matter what size it is on your template.
