006 Breathtaking Free Signup Sheet Template Concept
To have your free signup sheet template properly organized, you should set it up as follows. I will give you a sample layout in order to get your feet wet. There are more complicated layouts, and some with double lines, so do not panic if you do not understand.
First, you should remember to create a signup sheet template for each account you wish to attract new customers. You can use templates from other people's websites. If you don't know how to create them, ask someone at the company, they probably have templates you can use. I don't know anyone that doesn't have a template.
In addition, set the right columns. Columns should be the right size. The size of the columns should be the same. This is what your customers will use. When they sign up, the columns will contain their name and email address.
Then, you should create two rows for the person's name and the next two rows for the email address. You will also need a space to write a message. What message you use will depend on what your signup sheet is for. If it is for your website visitors, perhaps just a "Thank you" message would be appropriate.
On the other hand, if you are selling products or services, your signup sheet should give a more personal touch. For example, I personally have an "About Us" section. In this area, I simply include the name of the company, and what we offer.
In addition, you need to make sure that you have left enough room for the signup form to fit on the page, and allow the signup form to appear at the right amount in the text boxes. Make sure that you keep the text boxes in the proper size.
When the form is ready, give it a test by filling out the form and submitting it. Compare the number of emails that you receive and read, and compare the number of names entered in the name column with the number of names in the email box. See if it looks good. If it does not look good, redo the signup form until it looks good.
While you are working on the signup sheet, you should also include a time_stamp of sorts in the text boxes. Your signup form should have a time stamp, so that it appears that it was updated when in fact, nothing has changed. Remember, that this signup sheet is just a preview of what will appear when people sign up. So, it will still look good, but you may need to put more of the time stamping information in the text boxes.
Add a check box, to tell your customers whether they agree to a trial offer. In this way, your signup form will not look like a spam type of signup form. You can have a point system or other promotional code if you want.
If you do not find that there is a need for you to add a signup form, you can leave it out. It may be confusing to your customers, if they see the signup form, and then enter their name and email address. So, leave it out, so that it is only the name column and email address that they will see.
If you find that you still need to add the signup form, you can add it by highlighting the fields, right click and select "add to signup form". Then, enter the necessary information. Finally, you can copy and paste the information into the form that is already in place.
Save the changes and try again. You should be able to get it to look like you want.
