Looking for a home cleaning schedule template? Trying to decide what sort of template to use? You could either pick from Microsoft Word, Page Maker, or Apple iWork Pages, right? Wrong. Believe it or not, you can create your own home cleaning schedule in MS Excel.

In fact, creating a home cleaning schedule in MS Excel is easier than you think. Of course, you will need the software that allows you to do so. If you do not have any such software, don't fret. I shall explain everything you need to know about creating home cleaning schedules in MS Excel in a minute.

You can go to Microsoft Office Online and download a free calendar from the official website. Open that up in MS Excel to get started with your home cleaning schedule in Excel. The calendar can be customized by inserting additional fields and events such as dates, names of individuals, or even venue for the event.

Once you've downloaded the calendar, you'll want to open it and customize it. Go to the Insert tab and choose Cell Procedure and then click on the plus sign symbol next to the calendar. You will now be able to type in event details here such as date, time, and location. You can also enter additional information here such as additional guests or name of the staff member for the event. You can also enter text here such as tasks and reminders for each event.

Now, save the calendar to your desired location. Once done, open your Excel workbook. Find the blank schedule in the sheet and double click on the desired home cleaning schedule you created in Excel. Use the Insert menu for inserting additional cells and event details such as name of the event, date, and location.

In the Personal Information section, go to the column on the right_hand side of the worksheet named Accountancy and select the column named Home Cleaning. This home cleaning schedule is the actual schedule you want to create using Excel. Select the column that says Other Currencies and then fill in the values as shown in the picture below. The data that you put here will replace whatever data is already in your Excel file.

Using the same format as the accountancy data, type in the workers' names and their locations in the appropriate cell and quantity. When finished, you should have something like this: Month/Day_Work Name, Location, Number of Days Off, Start Time, End Time, and Currency symbols. If you don't see anything here that you can change, it's time to create a new excel workbook. Click on File and then New to bring up the forms wizard and follow the instructions to create a workbook.

Once you are done creating a new schedule, you should be able to see your schedule in Excel. Use the arrow keys to drag a portion of the workbook over and press the shift key when you want to add a new cell. You can also use the tab key while dragging the cells. This will make you more comfortable in entering the information you need to. When you are done, save your schedule and look at it!

You can do the same for your client's schedule. In fact, if you want to keep track of client's schedules, you can even make them run through a list so you can easily identify when they are due and what day they have to get things done. Once you have done so, type in their name into the cells with the time specified. Excel has built_in calculation, so you shouldn't have any problems entering this data.

A very useful feature of Microsoft Excel is the ability to create pivot tables. This means you can make a table with multiple rows and columns and then link together the headers of these cells so you can specify headers in one place and the duration in another. You can then link this together with the duration of each headers so you can determine how long the job will take.

If you are serious about building a home cleaning schedule, using an excel template will save you both time and money. In addition, if you don't want to learn how to use Excel, you can use the free versions of these programs. They work just as well, so why not give them a try? If you would like more information on how to use Excel, I highly recommend that you check out some online tutorials. You can also purchase Microsoft office products that include excel so you can easily learn how to use it.
