A checklist template is a selection of checklists that can be used to write a checklist. Checklists are helpful for employees to use when they need to organize and delegate work. In addition, they can help you keep track of the items that are being completed on each job.

If you do not like the template that you receive, it is likely that you will send out other templates to employees, which will cost more in shipping and printing, as well as in labor to print and ship the templates to your employees. If you are using templates to get new employee checklists approved, consider adding the new employee checklists to the existing template.

Before you use templates, you must choose which categories you want included in the individual employee checklists. All of the categories must be clearly stated. You do not want employees to be confused about what is not on the list.

A full category should include the following: Routine and Excessive Tasks; Work Requirements; Daily Progress; Performance Evaluation; Work Progress Tracking; Financial; Financial Status; Work and Materials; Job Locations; Skills and Training; Business Cards; Uniforms; Promotions; and Communications with Other Managers. Employees can be assigned one category or all of the categories.

Once you have the categories and the sections listed above, you will be able to write individual checklists for each employee. Be sure to include the necessary checklists for each category that you want included.

If you are not happy with your new employee checklists, you can get the checklists that were approved for you back. There is usually no charge for these checklists. If you do not want to use the checklists, you can purchase a blank sheet of paper that has the same information on it that you received for the checks.

When you begin the process of collecting all of the needed information, remember that you will need to add in any information that may have changed over the last two years. Sometimes there are changes that happen after a year, so you will need to know this when you begin the process.

You will have to have the employee checklists ready for each of your employees when they come to work for you. This will help you know exactly what to expect from each employee when they come to work for you each day. For the best results, you should review the checklists when each new employee comes to work for you.
