At this point, the therapist will want to schedule a follow_up with the client. At this point, the therapist can help the client work through the steps necessary to address the situation at hand.

The therapist can also refer the client to a school for behavior modification if the client is unable to attend the therapy sessions. The goal of this is to get the client to understand that they have choices in life. If they choose to continue to behave in a manner that is not acceptable, they are choosing to destroy their future and the future of those around them.

The therapist can also help the client develop a plan to make a behavior modification choice. They can provide references to good books and resources that will be available to the client when they make the choice. It is important to remember that this is an ongoing process and that it is up to the client to make the decision each time it comes up.
