Weekly House Cleaning Template

Weekly house cleaning is an important part of having a clean and organized home. However, it can be hard to keep on top of the many tasks that come each week. There are plenty of times when you forget to do something, or you end up doing something extra. When this happens, it can lead to an accumulation of dirty clothes and other clutter. The following will help you get started with your own weekly house cleaning ritual.

Your first step is to create a list of multiple chores which need to be performed each week. It may help you to create an individual chore list per room in the home so do not forget anything important. You can also search online for weekly house cleaning schedule templates. You will find plenty of websites that will show you how to create your own list and what kinds of chores you can assign each week. This will give you a weekly cleaning schedule that is easy to follow.

Once you have your list, start dividing it into weekly categories. For instance, you can divide chores into floors, tables, kitchen, garage, and outside. You should use separate categories for things like floors, kitchen, garage, and outside because these are more likely to be dirty than other rooms in the house. On your weekly cleaning schedule, mark off each chore once it is completed so you know exactly what needs to be done for the next week.

If you want to organize your weekly house cleaning schedule better, there are plenty of ways to organize your chores as well. For example, start labeling things with letter stickers. Mark off chores as "to_do," "dun,", or "not yet done." Mark off chores as "due tomorrow" or "next day." You can even combine these labels with other helpful reminders such as "tomato salad is ready," "clean laundry is in the washroom," etc. A great way to use color is to color the "not yet done" stickers a different color from the ones that are already on there.

The last part of your weekly house cleaning schedule is to fill out a weekly record of all of your chores. You can either write this down or put it in a notepad and draw it out on graph paper. This should include when you started doing the chores, how long each task took, how many pieces of furniture or other items you used, etc. If you feel like you need a bit more space to write down your chores, you can tape it to a wall or a refrigerator door so you don't forget it.

When it comes to actually following through with your weekly house cleaning schedule, here are some tips. First of all, if you have things in your fridge that you don't really need any more, maybe you could just discard them for the week or maybe even longer than that. That way, when you go to do your weekly house cleaning chores, you won't have to go searching for something that's missing when you get back from the grocery store. Also, try to think about how much space you really have in your refrigerator. If you only have room for a few smaller items, then you should probably leave those alone. On the other hand, if you have room for a lot of larger items, then maybe you could use a small corner of the refrigerator to store these items.

Once you have your weekly house cleaning schedule set up, you will have an easier time keeping track of what needs to be cleaned and what can wait. One way to do this is to write down on your notepad or calendar what you put in your fridge or what you store in your refrigerator. Some examples of things you might want to label would be the following: vegetables, fruit, meat, coffee, tea, milk, etc... You will be able to see at a glance exactly what needs to go in the fridge and what needs to wait. If you are someone who doesn't like to be bothered with listing everything you have in your fridge, then you can make a small list of these things for this purpose.

The most important part of this template is making sure that you stay on your weekly cleaning schedule. If you skip a day, you might find that the dishes in your sink aren't done and the food in your refrigerator is expired. It is very tempting to skip days of cleaning because you might have something else on your mind. However, if you are unable to get these chores out of your head, then you will just be extra tired and your house will look even dirtier than it does right now.
